Allows for testing without handling strips by using a convenient 17-test drum. Results appear in approximately 8 seconds. Tests blood sugar from the palm, forearm, upper arm, thigh, or calf. 100-value memory with time, date, and 7-day averaging. Provides diabetes management capabilities. Data can be downloaded to a computer, or "beamed" through infrared technology into a personal digital assistant (PDA) with optional Accu-Chek Pocket Compass™ Software. Uses two AAAA alkaline batteries (included).
